Oh, Look. It's this day again.
Yeah. I know I don't sound that excited in the title but whatever. I didn't get any gifts (not even from my parents!). No, scratch that, I got a present from my super-sweet friend Riley. It was this cupcake garland thing from my favorite store, The Paper Source. I'll take a pic of it when it's done :).
But not getting a lot of gifts, that was okay, since I'm used to not having a lot of stuff. In fact, I consider it one of my best qualities: I'm not materialistic like other girls. I can live without "stuff" and I'm always careful to take care of what I already have to make it last as long as possible :). Yay me.
Lucky for me though, we already did stuff on the weekend! On Saturday, we went to 16 Handles, this really good frozen yogurt place. Afterwards, we went back home and my Mom ordered pizza from Bertucci's (one of my FAVORITE pizza places!). So that was really good.
But the party didn't stop there! On Sunday, my dad and Nate (my younger brother) surprised me with a cake at church! Afterwards, of course. Everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to me, while I stood blushing furiously from all the attention.
Monday + Tuesday... nothing special, except that we had to come back from spring break, which was like UGHHHHH.
Wednesday (today)... is.... cue the drumroll..... my birthday! YAYBIES! I told some people it was my birthday and the people surrounding us were like, "Oh happy birthday Hanna!!" and I was sort of embarrassed because I'm not used to people paying so much attention to me.
