Hello, y'all! I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sorry that I've been so behind with blog posts! My teachers decided that since it's almost holiday break, it would be a "good" idea to make poor kids slave away with hours of homework and tire themselves out. Ugh.
Anyhoo, IOU guys one blog post, so here it is!
So, I lied about the auditions they were YESTERDAY! I was freaking out because I was totally unprepared and since a lot of my friends were sick (Chipotle disease + December+ bad hygiene+ middle school + kids) I had like zero support except for the people around me, with whom I weren't close.
When I went to chorus, everyone was all like AUDITIONS OMG OMG OMG.
so Mrs. Huntley, the music teacher, was like, "no drama, who wants to audition?" and people who wanted to audition raised their hands. I raised my hand, even though I was like completely unprepared and I did NOT think it through, being a bit impulsive. (NOT A GOOD COMBO) We went through the auditions in order of what Mrs. Huntley wrote down, and I have to say most of them weren't super good, no offense (why do people say that? It's still offensive even though you said no offense, so no offense means NOTHING. aghh get back on track Hanna). But some people were actually quite good. When it came to my turn I was so nervous and everyone was like, "It's okay Hanna! You'll do great!"
NO I DIDN'T. {insert why you always lyin'?}
When it came to my turn, my throat had been sore all day so my voice was not super good. I had to start over a million times being the perfectionist that I am. And then I was like "what am I doing????" so I said "wait never mind." and Mrs. Huntley was like, "okay good try" (mrs. Huntley loves me).
I pretty much cried through the rest of the auditions, the songs we rehearsed, and the whole dang class.
