Sorry guys! I've been MIA for a while and I haven't done a blog post for a long time, which I'm sure drove y'all crazy!
Anyway, here I am, blogging on a nice December morning, though THERE IS NO SNOW. Curse you Massachusetts, with your "I'm going to give you a brown Christmas, then drop literal tons of snow on you in January and February!" URGHHH. But I am sure there will be snow to chase away the it-feels-like-September-in-December vibes. I hope.
I'm really bored because now there is no sports left for me to do except indoor ones, which sort of drives me insane. My mom made me organize the living room because Nate (my little brother) and I left it a mess and play my instruments (piano + violin) in the morning because we are going to some Taiwanese (that's where my parents are from: Taiwan) people's house in the afternoon to (hopefully) MAKE DUMPLINGS!!! I am obsessed with making dumplings- it's super fun and easy, and then you get to EAT THEM!!! But I am a little non-excited too, because :
a. Taiwanese people combined with church relationships is a bit iffy. (yes they are part of a Taiwanese church) It makes me uncomfortable (I am not truly Christian) though I can't mention this to my parents without them getting mad at me.
b. this kid named Ariel (no, it's not pronounced like the Little Mermaid Ariel, more like AR-ee-el. I tried)- his bar mitzvah is today, which frankly I'd rather be at because tons of my friends will be there and the after-parties are super fun. But NOOO Ariel didn't invite me, probably because we didn't know each other earlier this year when he handed out invites. Le sigh.
c. Sometimes the annoying little kids make me want to slap them and I get super aggravated but I have to smile and play with them. And then I end up "being mean" to all the annoying kids my age. (read: an annoying kid named John who is the same age as me and is self-righteous and a goody-two-shoes) Hopefully he won't be there. But if he is.... 😠😠
But I have to be happy! Don't be bogged down!
